Shut Up, Foodies: Food in Space
So with the UFO, the Star Wars theme, and some galactic backgrounds in the program, I think this year's space aesthetic is 100 percent awesome. Sadly, no Tang or freeze-dried ice cream in sight. -SnacktimeMarcia “The Tablehopper” Gagliardi: Sustainable Fashion
Kelly Choi is not wearing an endangered bird—it's a sustainable bird.
Shut Up, Foodies: Theme From Star Wars
Not to embarrass anyone but a Beard Foundation staffer just said, "Thankfully it was the rebel theme and not the Imperial Anthem."Carol Blymire: BIG NEWS from Grant Achatz
Grant Achatz and partner Nick Kokonas told me backstage that they have launched NextRestaurant.com; a cocktail lounge called Aviary is also on the way. Opening fall 2010.Apron Anxiety: Saved By a Foodie!
Lisa Ling might know a LOT about most things but not so much when it comes to chefs....She couldn't think of one single chef she was excited about!!! Her friend covered up for her by shouting "Daniel Bouloud!" Saved by a foodie!Shut Up, Foodies: Lidia and Wolfgang Puck are on the Stage
Lidia is my most favorite TV chef right now, after Bourdain. I'm only qualified to critique her outfit but I would certainly eat anything she made. I mean, we may be Shut Up, Foodies, but I'd never tell Lady Lidia to shut up. She looks fabulous by the way. Wolfgang looks...well, like a debonair classical musician. Take from that what you will. -MeatballMarcia “The Tablehopper” Gagliardi: Crocs
I don't even have to show what this gentleman's footwear is tonight.
