Can’t make it to Lincoln Center on Monday? You can still experience the thrill of the JBF Awards right here on Delights & Prejudices: we’ll be live-blogging all the festivities, as well as tweeting from @beardfoundation—and don’t forget to make your thoughts known by including #jbfa in your own tweets! Just like years past, we've invited the team at Savory Cities to conduct and film interviews on the red carpet. We’ve also assembled a fleet of guest bloggers who will report, eat, and rub elbows with all the fabulous food folk in attendance. Let us introduce them: Carol Blymire: With the French Laundry Cookbook already under her belt, Blymire is now making her way through the motivation-crippling recipes of Alinea at Alinea at Home. Marcia Gagliardi: San Franciscan Marcia Gagliardi writes the e-column tablehopper, which features reviews of restaurants and bars in the City by the Bay. Her weekly content also fills a website and printed guide of the same name. Jennifer Leuzzi: Back for her third year of guest-blogging and red-carpet interviews, Leuzzi is a freelance food writer and is known for her blog Snack. Alyssa Shelasky: An ex-dating blogger who now writes for People, Shelasky recently retreated to the blogosphere to launch Apron Anxiety, an account of her adventures in home cooking. (Her tagline reads, “My burning desire to cook, without burning down the house.”) Meatball, Snacktime, and Julia Childless: Though the raison d'etre of Shut Up, Foodies is to take food worshippers down a few pegs, its anonymous authors accepted our invitation to live-blog the Awards anyway. (But God help you if you gush about ramps in their presence.) The red carpet gets rolling at 5:00. We hope you join us!
