Beard on Books: Dana Cowin and Kate Heddings
In Food & Wine Reinventing the Classics, the stylish and popular magazine's editors present reimagined classic dishes like cheddar B.L.T. burgers with Russian dressing, Thai green curry chicken wings, and butterscotch sticky buns. It's the perfect cookbook for cooks who want to breathe new life into their repertoire.
Wednesday, January 19, 7:00 P.M.
Colorado Ranch and Farm
Boulder chef Eric Skokan of the Black Cat returns to the Beard House with his French-inflected yet utterly American cuisine. For this dinner, he has designed a soulful and impeccably seasonal menu that features the heritage meats and heirloom vegetables produced on his own 70-acre organic farm.
Thursday, January 20, 7:00 P.M.
Middle Eastern Magic
JBF Award winner Ana Sortun and Maura Kilpatrick of Boston’s Oleana and Sofra are bringing their inventive take on Eastern Mediterranean cuisine to the Beard House with a mezze-inspired menu. Former Oleana sommelier Theresa Paopao will select the wine pairings, and Siena Farms will provide the locally grown produce.

Celebrity Chef Tour: Kona, HI
Celebrity Chef Tour events are dinners that benefit the James Beard Foundation, in which JBF Award winners and other celebrity chefs travel to private clubs, resorts, and other exclusive venues across America to prepare dinners and promote the culinary arts.

Boutique Cuisine
The sophisticated luxury of the Andaz hotels, found in some of the hottest neighborhoods in Los Angeles, New York, and London, is reflected in the exceptional, seasonally driven restaurants located inside. Join three of the talented Andaz chefs for a Beard House dinner highlighting artisanal cheeses.

The James Beard Foundation Greens: Jazz at Lincoln Center
The James Beard Foundation Greens (foodies under 40) is joining forces with Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Hang Set (their program for the under 40 crowd) for a spectacular evening of delicious food, stunning views, and great music. Guests will enjoy a pre-concert reception featuring some of NYC's finest chefs, followed by a jazz concert showcasing the music of Sarah Vaughan.
