No discussion of the Southern culinary landscape is complete without a mention of Jackson, Mississippi, and its talented community of chefs. Join us in the historic capital of the Magnolia State for a special Friends of James Beard Benefit featuring some of the area’s most beloved cooks.
Wednesday, January 23, 7:00 P.M.
Get ready for a once-in-a-lifetime black truffle feast when James Beard Award–winning chef Adam Siegel returns to the Beard House to prepare the treasured tubers along with produce and lamb from Napa’s Somerston vineyards, which will also be providing a selection of their exquisite wines for this dinner.

Friday, January 25, 7:00 P.M.
Nestled in an aspen grove on picturesque Beaver Creek Mountain, Allie's Cabin will serve as the breathtaking backdrop for this special Friends of James Beard Benefit dinner. Pack your snowshoes and join host chef Kirk Weems and JBF Award winner John Besh for an unforgettable meal during FOOD & WINE magazine's spectacular Beaver Creek FOOD & WINE Weekend festival.

Raise a glass to Robert Burns, the Nobel poet laureate who penned the ode to Scotland’s unofficial national dish, Address to a Haggis, at this traditional—and boisterous—Scottish celebration featuring robust dishes prepared by Chris Rendell and Ryan Butler.
Saturday, January 26, 7:00 P.M.
James Beard alums Lorenzo Polegri and Kim Brookmire have led Italian cooking classes all over the world, from Cambridge, Massachusetts, to Italy’s Umbria region. Now their shared adoration for Italian cuisine (and for each other) brings them to the Beard House for a meal that celebrates sumptuous Umbrian fare.
