Marcia "The Tablehopper" Gagliardi: Signing Off
And I’m off to Eleven, with the charming Melissa Perello (Frances).
It’s been an honor to be here in New York, surrounded with such friendly, talented, gracious people. What a wonderful industry. Thanks for having me!
Cheers and congrats to all--whether there is a medal around your neck, or not--because the food you create, the drinks you pour, the spaces where you host us, and the hours you work are so appreciated by all!
Ciao!!

I am no longer hungry. In fact, quite sated.
Marcia "The Tablehopper" Gagliardi: Duck Pastrami
You know you want this, too. (Especially with pickled rhubarb, golden raisins, and on a pretzel wafer. Hell yes.)

Jacques Pepin. Wrap him up, take him to go. What a delightful man.
Marcia “The Tablehopper” Gagliardi: "I Need a Beer." "I Need a Shot."
Beer: Colicchio. Shot: Daniel.Marcia "The Tablehopper" Gagliardi: Who is More Excited, Me or Nicole?
Huge congrats to Nicole Plue of Redd for winning the Outstanding Pastry Chef award. She turned me on to the wonders of New York eggs-on-a-roll (which is what she plans on having for her hangover breakfast tomorrow morning). When I asked about her culinary rock stars, she noted, “When I moved to New York to open Eleven Madison Park, Claudia Fleming was the badass in town—she was smart, her desserts were really clean and full of great execution and all about integrity of flavor. And Pichet Ong and Sherry Yard have always been good friends and very supportive.”
I asked if she was to celebrate with a single dessert tonight, what would it be? “A chocolate chip cookie, right out of the oven.”
Cheers, darling.
Marcia "The Tablehopper" Gagliardi: Jean-Georges, Pure Class
He walks into the room, and just watch the ladies swoon.
Marcia “The Tablehopper” Gagliardi: Is Anyone Working in This Press Room?
It’s definitely becoming more of a party room. Getting harder and harder to interview people. Let alone get a drink, hello.
But I am not drinking. I am working! The only thing next to my computer right now is some Aqua Panna water. Really.
