Black Pepper Shortcake with Summer Fruits and Honey Lavender Ice Cream Peter Hoffman, who launched locavorism at New York's Savoy 20 years ago, served this black pepper shortcake with summer fruits and honey lavender ice cream at his midsummer Beard House dinner.
