Taste of the NFL and JBF Team up to Kick Hunger
Last month we partnered with Taste of the NFL (whose founder, Wayne Kostroski, received our Humanitarian of the Year Award in 2010) to raise awareness of the organization's fight against hunger. Bobby Flay, Bob Costas, and other special guests from the worlds of sports and food came by to honor the nonprofit. Watch a short clip about the event below. Enjoy breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean while feasting on chef Evan Treadwell’s California coastal cuisine. Treadwell takes seasonal and local cooking seriously, changing the menu with each solstice and equinox and airing his regionally sourced creations with exciting and often little known Central Coast wines.

Eager to reunite, they’ll be cooking together in our kitchen for the first time ever.

Awards Watch: 2010 Humanitarian of the Year
We’re at it again! JBF Awards season has begun and we’ve just announced our first winner. This year’s Humanitarian of the Year is Taste of the NFL founder Wayne Kostroski. With the help of award-winning chefs from around the nation and football players from across the NFL, Kostroski has helped raise over nine million dollars for local and national hunger organizations.
