Join JBF Greens at Clover Hill in the heart of the Brooklyn Heights Historic District for a taste of French and new American flavors.

Executive chef/co-owner Charlie Mitchell and restaurateurs Clay Castillo and Gabriel Marino opened Clover Hill in February 2022. In less than a year, the restaurant earned its first Michelin star, making chef Charlie the first Black Michelin-starred chef in New York City, and the second-ever Black Michelin-starred chef in America.

For the occasion, chef Charlie will curate a thoughtful, three-course menu that pays homage to his grandmother—Mrs. Mae—and the recipes that inspired his career.

*70% of your ticket price will go directly to the host chef to support their business while 30% will go towards the Foundation’s national programming that is rooted in advocacy, racial equity, sustainability, and women’s leadership for the culinary industry.

All reservations must be made in advance. Should the event(s) be cancelled due to any unforeseen circumstances, including COVID-19, The James Beard Foundation will offer options including ticket exchanges, use of tickets for future events, and option to donate tickets.
