Making scrambled eggs with my mom.

If you weren't a chef, what would you be?
History Teacher

If you could cook James Beard one dish, what would it be?
Pasta with our Sunday sauce. We grew up eating it and it means more to me than anything else.

Describe your worst kitchen screw-up:
Burned 20 pounds of local chanterelles that we spent a few hours cleaning.
