Our favorite culinary stars are arriving on the red carpet, tonight’s featured chefs are setting up for the reception, and our team of guest bloggers is gearing up for the festivities. Once again, we’d like to introduce tonight’s guest bloggers who’ll be reporting, eating, and rubbing elbows with all the fabulous food folk: Just like years past, the team at Savory Cities will be joining Jennifer Leuzzi of Snack on the red carpet. Jennifer, a veteran of the JBF Awards, will also be checking in to share her unique perspective throughout the night. Carol Blymire: She tackled the French Laundry Cookbook and is now making her way through the avant garde recipes of Alinea at Alinea at Home. Marcia Gagliardi: Flying in from San Francisco, the author of the e-column tablehopper reviews restaurants and bars in the City by the Bay. Her weekly content also fills a website and printed guide of the same name. Jennifer Leuzzi: Back for her third year of guest-blogging and red-carpet interviews, Leuzzi is a freelance food writer and is known for her blog Snack. Alyssa Shelasky: This ex-dating blogger now writes for People, and recently launched Apron Anxiety, an account of her adventures in cooking. Meatball, Snacktime, and Julia Childless: Though the raison d’etre of Shut Up, Foodies is to take food worshippers down a few pegs, its anonymous authors accepted our invitation to live-blog the Awards anyway. (But God help you if you gush about ramps in their presence.) We’ll be posting the winners throughout the night, as well as updates from the press room, reception, and after parties, so stay tuned! You can also get all your Awards news in real time by following @beardfoundation on twitter—and don’t forget to include #jbfa in your own awards-related tweets!
