Bobby Flay Named Honoree of the James Beard Foundation's 2014 Chefs & Champagne®

Meanwhile, in non-Beard Award news, we've got ourselves an honoree for this summer's Chefs & Champagne: the James Beard Award–winning chef, restaurateur, cookbook author, and television personality Bobby Flay. The Food Network star will join us for an evening of fine food and flowing Champagne at Wölffer Estate Vineyard in the Hamptons on Saturday, July 26.

A veteran of New York's restaurant scene, Bobby Flay is a highly respected chef and restaurateur, with an empire that extends to Las Vegas, Atlantic City, and the Bahamas. He's also a household name, thanks to his starring roles on several Food Network and Cooking Channel programs. The Mediterranean-inspired Gato, his first Manhattan concept in eight years, just had its soft opening in the city's NoHo neighborhood. "Bobby truly is one of the finest chefs of our time, and the Foundation looks forward to celebrating him and his many accomplishments in the Hamptons this July,” says JBF president Susan Ungaro.
