Happy Hour: A Trio of Refreshing Cocktails from Cress Restaurant

Outside of operating their critically acclaimed Central Florida eatery, Cress Restaurant, powerhouse husband-and-wife team Hari and Jenneffer Pulapaka pursue ambitious careers and advocate for improving local food systems. Last month, the accomplished duo combined their enlightened outlooks, culinary prowess, and expansive beverage knowledge for a night of globally inspired, regional American cuisine and beverages at the Beard House. During the reception, Jenneffer served three of her signature cocktails, all with distinct flavors: the sparkling, citrus-infused Afternoon Sunrise; the aromatic vodka- and brandy-spiked Spiced Marilyn; and the smooth, elegant Brown Diamond anchored by ginger beer and sherry. Unique and effortlessly drinkable, all three tipplers would make great additions to any cocktail party.
