James Beard Foundation's Taste America®

It's time for a look at this weekend's other James Beard Foundation’s Taste America® city: Las Vegas!

On Saturday, September 28, Taste America All-Star Masaharu Morimoto will join a lineup of top Sin City chef talent, including a number of Beard Award winners, at the Mirage hotel's stunning main pool. The walk-around tasting will highlight the city's most tempting food and drink.

Earlier that same day, join us at Sur La Table at Fashion Show Mall for a day of free cooking demos, product tastings, and more. Legendary French pastry chef François Payard will lead off with a demonstration in Sur La Table’s demo kitchen, with chef Morimoto to follow. Both chefs will also be signing copies of their books for fans.

The James Beard Foundation is proud to donate a portion of Vegas proceeds to Epicurean Charitable Foundation, a nonprofit that lends a helping hand to promising high school students who plan to study hospitality and the culinary arts, awarding them scholarships or placing them in mentorships at some of the most prestigious hotels in Las Vegas.
