Modern Surf and Turf Life in St. John’s, Newfoundland’s bustling capital, revolves around the ocean. Perched on the tip of the Avalon Peninsula, the city boasts a cuisine and culture that seamlessly intertwine land with sea. This dynamic connection inspires a modern surf-and-turf menu served up by some of our favorite Canadian chefs. Friday, October 21, 7:00 P.M. Dallas Destination Chef Abraham Salum dishes out both authentic Mexican and American fare at his wildly popular neighboring Dallas restaurants. These two culinary traditions, together with Salum’s Italian and Lebanese heritage, inspire the menu for this Beard House dinner.
