Small-town charm meets modern luxury at the historic Inns of Aurora, a storied collection of Federal-style properties overlooking the majestic Cayuga Lake. Tonight the Inn’s locavore chef Patrick Higgins comes to the Beard House for an elegant expression of late-spring bounty from the lush Finger Lakes region, serving up plates like Riesling-Pickled Scallops with Nettle Vichyssoise and Caviar; Finger Lakes Cheese Cannelloni with Mushroom Crespelle, Fiddlehead Ferns, Pea Shoots, and Preserved Tomatoes; and Spiced Lamb Sausage with Ramps, Baby Artichokes, Shiitake Mushrooms, and Jus.
