Urban Mediterranean 
At Pittsburgh’s Cure, James Beard Award nominee Justin Severino has been garnering acclaim for his innovative approach to charcuterie and Italian–American cooking. Discover the restaurant’s signature “urban Mediterranean” cuisine at this Beard House dinner, as Severino takes a seasonal approach to nose-to-tail dining.

Maine Marvel 
“This is Portland dining at its finest,” wrote Katie Chang in Food Republic of David’s Opus Ten, adding that the restaurant-within-a-restaurant’s food is “understated, quietly confident, and unquestionably delicious.” Helmed by veteran chef David Turin, the dining destination is an intimate, 18-seat space that offers curated tasting menus of the chef’s exceptional New American cuisine.

Enlightened Eaters: Afro-Vegan 
Acclaimed cookbook author and chef Bryant Terry’s latest work, Afro-Vegan, merges his connection to African cuisines with his passion for food justice. Concerned about the increasing prevalence of diet-preventable diseases such as hypertension and type-2 diabetes, Terry has set out to revamp more than 100 recipes for a vegan lifestyle. This unique tome also includes insights into building community around food, as well as book and music recommendations, proving Afro-Vegan is good for the body and spirit.

Latour: Innovative Food, Stellar Wine 
An alum of Paris’s hallowed Pierre Gagnaire as well as pastry temple Pierre Hermé, Jean Paul Lourdes is now gracing the kitchen at the opulent Restaurant Latour. Diners at this Beard House dinner will be treated to a menu of the chef’s outstanding, ingredient-focused menu paired with spectacular wines from the restaurant’s award-winning wine cellar.

Cutting-Edge Asian 
Far above the bustle of Bangkok, Sam Pang is literally bringing Asian cuisine to new heights at Breeze at Tower Club at Lebua, where diners sit 50 floors above the city. For this special anniversary dinner, chefs Andrea Trapani and Simone De Castro will be preparing their favorite dishes from the past decade.
