Join JBF Greens for an in-person celebration of our local restaurant community at modern Indian gastropub Baar Baar, in NYC’s East Village. Dinner will be an intimate indoor gathering with safety regulations strictly enforced as mandated by local governance.

Chef Sujan Sarkar, sous chefs Paramjeet Bombra, Sathish Subramaniyam, and Kuldeep Bhandari, pastry chef Naseer Armar, and mixologist Chetan Gangan will collaborate on an ambitious four-course regional Indian menu in which each team member will draw inspiration from their hometown.

Capital One is providing a special offer to those attending upcoming in-person events. Ticketholders will receive a one-time code for a free Beard Box—a curated meal kit for two developed by the Fellows participating in the Beard House Fellows program presented by Capital One.

*70% of your ticket price will go directly to the host restaurant while 30% will go towards the Foundation’s programs, including our Open for Good campaign to support independent restaurants.

Maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our guests, chefs, and entire restaurant team to experience our events is a top priority.  The James Beard Foundation will adhere to city, state and/or federal regulations along with the policy of our host restaurants, which may include: wearing masks when not at your table, maintaining 3-feet of distance away from guests, or providing proof of vaccination. Ticket buyers attending the Greens event will be alerted of the final policy in an email at least two (2) business days prior to the event date. Thank you for your continued understanding and compliance with these measures for your safety and the safety of those around you. 

All reservations must be made in advance. Should the event(s) be cancelled due to any unforeseen circumstances, including COVID-19, The James Beard Foundation will offer a range of options, including ticket exchanges, option to donate tickets or a full refund.
