After honing his skills at Tyler Anderson’s lauded Millwright’s in Simsbury, Luke Venner headed to the perennially popular BLT Fish and BLT Steak in the Big Apple, where he held the position of executive chef. Now at the helm of Elm in New Canaan, Venner is bringing a taste of Connecticut spring to the Beard House and preparing an elegant menu of seasonal selections inspired by his reverence for local purveyors and producers.
