Sustainable Seafood PDX

Taking place Friday, June 21 through Sunday, June 23, and spearheaded by Portland chef Vitaly Paley, the first annual Sustainable Seafood PDX is slated to be a fun-filled weekend among friends sharing food, drink and wisdom about the health of our oceans while celebrating our abilities to invoke change.

On Saturday, June 22 a Sustainable Seafood Grand Dinner will take place at Headwaters at the Heathman Hotel with six Pacific Northwest chefs creating a special dinner centered around the local and sustainable bounty of our oceans.  A portion of the proceeds will benefit the James Beard Foundation’s Impact Programs.

We are thrilled to have the nation's leading sustainable seafood bodies, the James Beard Foundation’s Smart Catch and Monterey Bay Aquarium’s Seafood Watch as participants and partners in Sustainable Seafood PDX.
