Spike Gjerde co-founded Woodberry Kitchen in Baltimore in 2007, and in 2015 he became the first Baltimore chef to bring home the Beard Award for Best Chef: Mid-Atlantic. Now Spike and Woodberry Kitchen chef Patrick “Opie” Crooks are coming to the Beard House to show off their focus on local sourcing, sustainability, and the bounty of the Chesapeake.
Tickets to events held at the James Beard House cover the cost of food and a unique dining experience. Dinners are prepared by culinary masters from all regions of the United States and around the world. All alcoholic beverages are provided on a complimentary basis and are not included in the ticket price.
