Todd Villani has made his name as one of the Garden State’s biggest locavores, so it’s no surprise that he’s linking up with fellow advocate and friend Marc Swierkowski for an end-of-summer supper at the Beard House. This farm-to-table feast will be packed with peak produce, rustic flavors, and European flair.

Charlotte’s the Fig Tree has been lauded as one of the city’s most romantic eateries and was twice named restaurant of the year by Charlotte Magazine. There, Greg Zanitsch plays culinary cupid, charming diners with his seasonally focused blend of French and Italian cuisines, complemented by award-winning wines. For his Beard House debut, Zanitsch and wife/partner Sara have enlisted Willamette Valley star Argyle Winery to celebrate an evening inspired by wine and friendship.

Virginia is for lovers—of phenomenal food and wine, that is. This top-notch team of toques, each representing a different corner of the state, will guide guests on a culinary tour of Old Dominion’s diverse and delicious offerings, from farm to distillery and beyond.
