The Small Business Association (SBA) has recently released guidelines around the Restaurant Revitalization Fund—the $28.6 billion in relief for eligible restaurants, bars, and qualifying businesses that was allocated as part of the American Rescue Plan.

The full SBA Restaurant Revitalization Fund Guide is available here.

The application is expected to open in the next few weeks, and you will be able to apply through SBA-recognized Point of Sale Restaurant Partners or directly via an SBA application portal. You can access a sample application form here (please note the portal will only be available once the application is live).

Restaurant owners will want to also collect tax information and gross receipts documentation in preparation for applying.

For more information, including a full list of eligible food businesses, more details on supplemental documents, and more visit sba.gov/restaurants.

Tune into our webinar with the Independent Restaurant Coalition all about the Restaurant Revitalization Fund on April 28 at 3:30 P.M. ET to learn more. Register here.
