This colorful drink is also great for eliminating food waste. The carrot juice is used in the cocktail while the green carrot tops are saved for garnish.


1 cocktail


  • 2 ounces Avión Reposado Tequila
  • 2 ounces fresh carrot juice
  • 1 ounce Chartreuse Liqueur 
  • 1/4 ounce fresh lime juice
  • Pinch of Cayenne
  • Carrot types for garnish


Combine all ingredients, except the carrot tops, in a shaker filled with ice. Double strain over a Collins glass filled with ice. Garnish with tender, baby carrot top greens.
