Blackberry Spritz

For your next at-home brunch, whip up this refreshing blackberry-and-Campari-based spritz, courtesy of JBF Chefs Boot Camp alum Evan Hanczor and Egg bar manager Meryl Laborde.


Makes 1 cocktail


  • ¾ ounce Campari 
  • ¾ ounce grapefruit juice
  • Bar spoon of blackberry jam (for a smoother drink, blend the jam in a blender, then strain out the seeds)
  • Sparkling wine
  • Grapefruit twist for garnish


Fill a wineglass with ice. Add the Campari and grapefruit juice to the glass, then add the jam. Stir gently to combine. Top with sparkling wine and garnish with the grapefruit twist.
