Here’s a taste of what’s on tap today at the Beard House.
Ferragosto: Midsummer Italian Feast, 7:00 P.M.
Jordan Frosolone, Brooklyn, NY / Domenica Marchetti, Cookbook Author, Preserving Italy
With origins in ancient Rome, Italy’s Ferragosto holiday calls for spirited feasting and revelry at the peak of summer. To celebrate, we’ve invited Jordan Frosolone, a passionate Italophile and talented Momofuku alum, and esteemed Italian cookbook author Domenica Marchetti to bring a rustic and indulgent taste of Italy to the Beard House. Expect plates straight from the boot like Pistachio Arancini; Seasonal Fish Crudo with Calabrian Neonata Fish Sauce, Lampascioni Bulbs, and Fennel; and Falsomagro alla Siciliana with Braised Beef and Chickpea Polenta.
