Join us as we delve into the vibrant world of African cuisine with celebrated chef and author Alexander Smalls and acclaimed food writer and co-founder of Dine Diaspora, Nina Oduro. In a conversation moderated by journalist and co-host of CBS Saturday Morning Michelle Miller, they will discuss their collaborative work, The Contemporary African Kitchen, a groundbreaking cookbook that explores the rich and diverse culinary traditions of Africa while reinterpreting them for the modern palate. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and engage in a lively discussion with the authors about their experiences, recipes, and the broader context of African culinary traditions. Bites from the book will be served.
