From appearances on television shows, radio programs, and beloved cookbooks including Zaika – Vegan Recipes from India and On The Himalayan Trail, Gill has established herself as a prominent figure in the culinary world, with her commitment to showcasing India’s vibrant culinary heritage. Her latest book, Romy Gill’s India is her most personal account of recipes thus far. Through ancestral kitchens in the Bengal and Punjab region, Gill shares her version of Indian home cooking. Join Gill at Platform for a demonstration and tasting of dishes from Romy Gill’s India that will take participants through a culinary journey of the flavors that defined her childhood.

Should the event be cancelled due to any unforeseen circumstances, including COVID-19, JBF will offer a range of options, including ticket exchanges, the option to donate tickets, or a full refund. Terms
Tickets to events held at Platform at Pier 57 by the James Beard Foundation cover the cost of food, education and a unique dining experience. Meals are prepared by culinary masters from all regions of the United States and around the world. Unless otherwise stated, alcoholic beverages are provided on a complimentary basis and are not included in the ticket price.
