Celebrate the Festival of Lights in luminous style with Chef Vikas Khanna and the acclaimed team behind Bungalow—named one of the Infatuation’s “Toughest Reservations to Get.” On Tuesday, October 7, this Patron-exclusive dinner will bring the magic of Diwali to the historic James Beard House.
Inspired by India’s legendary vintage clubhouses, Bungalow is more than a restaurant—it is a journey into history, culture, and community. Its very name, drawn from the Bengali word “Bangla,” evokes these opulent gathering spaces that once defined social life and camaraderie. With this special dinner, Chef Khanna and his team invite you to step into that world through an extraordinary menu that blends heritage with innovation.

Terms
Tickets to events held at the James Beard House cover the cost of food, education, and a unique dining experience. Meals are prepared by culinary masters from all regions of the United States and around the world. Unless otherwise stated, alcoholic beverages are provided on a complimentary basis and are not included in the ticket price.
Event Policy
Reservation Policy:
All reservations are non-refundable and must be made in advance. Should the event be cancelled due to any unforeseen circumstances, JBF will offer a range of options, including ticket exchanges, the option to donate tickets, or a full refund. Dietary/Food Restrictions Policy:
Events at the James Beard House are special one-night-only menus and we do not offer à la carte menus. If you have serious food allergies, we will work with the visiting chef team to do our best to accommodate but cannot guarantee that alternate options will be available for every course.
