Four-time James Beard Award semifinalist Chef Camari Mick (formerly of Raf’s and The Musket Room) visits the historic James Beard House for an intimate glimpse at her new Afro-Caribbean brasserie and bakery, L’Atelier Ébène, set to open this fall in downtown Manhattan.
The menu will feature dishes that chef Camari holds close to her heart, blending the traditional foodways of the Black Atlantic with French techniques, honed through rich culinary experience.
Join fellow JBF Patrons for this exclusive preview dinner before the restaurant opens to the public!
This one-night-only dinner will feature a cocktail reception with passed hors d'oeuvre upon arrival, an expertly crafted multi-course menu with thoughtfully curated wine or beverage pairings, and a Q&A with the featured chefs.

Tickets to events held at the James Beard House cover the cost of food, education, and a unique dining experience. Meals are prepared by culinary masters from all regions of the United States and around the world. Unless otherwise stated, alcoholic beverages are provided on a complimentary basis and are not included in the ticket price.

Reservation Policy:
All reservations are non-refundable and must be made in advance. Should the event be cancelled due to any unforeseen circumstances, JBF will offer a range of options, including ticket exchanges, the option to donate tickets, or a full refund.
