In celebration of chef Michael Mina and James Beard’s shared birthday on May 5, chef Mina, a three-time James Beard Award winner®, and the MINA Group are partnering with the James Beard Foundation® for a month-long birthday bash. This collaboration features a limited-time cocktail and dessert offered at select MINA Group locations, with proceeds supporting the Foundation's mission to lead chefs and the broader culinary industry towards a new standard of excellence.

Rooted in a long-standing relationship with the Foundation, chef Mina’s participation reflects a shared commitment to advancing education and training for emerging chefs and culinary leaders.

The MINA Group Birthday Bash is part of the Friends of James Beard Benefit series; events hosted by generous people, businesses, and organizations outside of JBF that provide critical funding for our programs. Each event supports our mission to champion a standard of Good Food for Good® anchored in talent, equity, and sustainability.
