A Lesson on Terroir and Merroir Featuring Bedell Cellars, Peeko Oysters, and I & Me Farm
Known for its vast farmlands, award-winning wineries, and pristine seafood, the North Fork of Long Island is one of the most abundant agricultural regions in New York State.
Bedell Cellars, a family-owned winery fermenting with 100% naturally occurring wild yeasts, has perfected the “North Fork style” of winemaking, relying on well-tested techniques that work in harmony with their maritime terroir. Peeko Oysters, a small aquaculture farm based out of Suffolk, New York, harvests their exceptional bivalves in the Little Peconic Bay. I & Me Farm in Orient, New York stewards the land with organic and biodiversity practices.
Together, these growers, vintners, and farmers have partnered to create a tasting experience that brings together the best of land and sea. Enjoy a menu that features the bounty of the North Fork and learn about the sustainable practices and dedication that goes into every sip and bite.

All reservations are non-refundable and must be made in advance. Should the event be cancelled due to any unforeseen circumstances, JBF will offer a range of options, including ticket exchanges, the option to donate tickets, or a full refund. Events at Platform by JBF are special one-night-only menus and we do not offer a la carte menus. If you have serious food allergies, we will work with the visiting chef team to do our best to accommodate but cannot guarantee that alternate options will be available for every course.
Terms
Tickets to events held at Platform at Pier 57 by the James Beard Foundation cover the cost of food, education and a unique dining experience. Meals are prepared by culinary masters from all regions of the United States and around the world. Unless otherwise stated, alcoholic beverages are provided on a complimentary basis and are not included in the ticket price.
