James Beard Award Semifinalists Ron Hsu and Aaron Phillips Showcase Their Fine Dining Gem
Chef-partners Ron Hsu and Aaron Phillips, of Atlanta‘s Michelin-starred Lazy Betty, are bringing their inventive cuisine to New York City. Recognized as James Beard Award semifinalists for Best New Restaurant and Best Chef: Southeast, the duo is renowned for creating stunning dishes showcasing modern techniques, intentionality, and finesse, all crafted with exquisite ingredients and inspired by a variety of cuisines.
Before founding Lazy Betty, Ron and Aaron worked at the preeminent seafood restaurant Le Bernardin and honed their skills in other notable New York kitchens. For this dinner, they’ll present iconic dishes from their celebrated tasting menu, offering a distinct taste of what has rightfully put them on Atlanta’s culinary map.

Reservation Policy:
All reservations are non-refundable and must be made in advance. Should the event be cancelled due to any unforeseen circumstances, JBF will offer a range of options, including ticket exchanges, the option to donate tickets, or a full refund. Terms
Tickets to events held at Platform at Pier 57 by the James Beard Foundation cover the cost of food, education and a unique dining experience. Meals are prepared by culinary masters from all regions of the United States and around the world. Unless otherwise stated, alcoholic beverages are provided on a complimentary basis and are not included in the ticket price.
