Queer All Year Webinar Series: Consumer Produced Goods

Join us virtually for James Beard Foundation and Queer Food Foundation’s webinar series, Queer All Year. This six-part webinar series offers robust conversations about the intersectionality of LGBTQ+ identity and food with chefs and other culinary professionals. While we acknowledge Pride month is important, we believe in celebrating the community year-round. Each panel highlights several aspects (the good, bad, and hopeful) of queer food spaces. This month we will dig into the realities of building, funding, and scaling consumer packaged goods brands. From navigating access and visibility to reclaiming joy and creativity in entrepreneurship, this panel centers lived experience, hard-won lessons, and what it truly takes to bring queer-owned products to market. Our panelists will be Andre Springer from Shaquanda Will Feed You, Yao Zhao from 50Hertz Tingly Foods, and Tom Jackson from Supergay Spirits.
