BACARDÍ Old Cuban

Method

Invented by famed bartender Audrey Saunders, the Old Cuban was specifically crafted with BACARDÍ Gran Reserva 8 Años as its base and is now recognized as a modern classic.

  • 1 part simple syrup
  • 3/5 parts lime juice
  • 6 mint leaves
  • 1 3/5 parts BACARDÍ Gran Reserva 8 Años
  • 2 dashes Angostura bitters
  • 2 2/5 parts Martini & Rossi Prosecco

Muddle lime juice, syrup, and mint in a mixing glass. Add rum, bitters, and ice; shake well. Strain into cocktail glass and top with Champagne.
