The NoMad Bar - NYC
Dust off your coupes and flutes: on the night of the Beard Awards, you'll have plenty of reasons to raise a glass. Our friends at the NoMad Bar, winner of our 2014 Outstanding Bar Program award, have shared this recipe for a stylish Champagne-anchored cocktail to serve at your viewing party.
- 1 ounce Cocchi Americano
- ½ ounce Combier triple sec
- 3 dashes Angostura bitters
- 3 dashes Peychaud’s bitters
- 2 ounces chilled Champagne
- Orange twist
Combine the Cocchi Americano, Combier, Angostura, and Peychaud’s in a mixing glass.
Fill the mixing glass with ice and stir.
Strain the cocktail into a chilled Champagne flute and top with the Champagne.
Holding the orange twist above the glass, use your fingers to twist the peel and release the orange oils over the glass. Rub the twist around the rim of the glass and discard.
