The Presidential Suite
Method
A spirited mix of bourbon, rye, and rum, this beverage also includes the satisfying combination of housemade honey syrup and orange bitters.
- 1 ounce Old Grand Dad 114 bourbon
- 1 ounce Old Overholt rye
- 1/2 ounce Cruzan Blackstrap rum
- 1/4 ounce honey syrup
- 1 pipette Angostura orange bitters
- Orange peel for garnish
Make the honey syrup: in a bowl, combine 4 parts honey to 1 part water. Whisk together to incorporate.
Stir together all ingredients in a mixing glass. Strain the drink into a chilled rocks glass filled with an ice sphere and garnish with an expressed orange peel.
