Viennese Walnut and Horseradish Spread
Method
Dano’s Heuriger is modeled after a Viennese wine garden, where there is always a variety of delicious spreads to pair with wine. This walnut and horseradish spread is simple to make, unique, and goes great with a glass of a local Finger Lakes Riesling or Gewürztraminer.
- 1 pound cream cheese
- 1 cup toasted, ground walnuts
- 1/2 cup prepared horseradish
Mix cream cheese, walnuts, and horseradish together in a mixer and spread on slices of fresh bread. Serve with a glass of Riesling, Gewürztraminer, or even a nice Merlot.
