Elevating and Celebrating Latinx Chefs

The James Beard Awards embraces El Pollo Loco’s calls to elevate and celebrate Latinx chefs across the country. We share their goal of a more diverse and inclusive industry that recognizes the invaluable contributions of the Latinx community. On Monday we announced comprehensive changes to the James Beard Awards policies and procedures with the goal of creating a more diverse and transparent Awards program. We welcome community engagement and invite El Pollo Loco to partner with us as we move forward with these changes to ensure that more Latinx chefs, as well as more women and chefs of color, are recognized for their excellence.
