For those who are looking to make the holidays …

For those who are looking to make the holidays even merrier, we asked Bernie Sun, corporate beverage director of JBF Award winner Jean-Georges Vongerichten’s restaurants, to suggest affordable wine pairings for the season’s classic desserts.

For our third installment, we asked Sun to recommend the perfect pairing for bread pudding. His pick? Domaine de Durban Muscat de Beaumes-de-Venise ($15). "A classic dessert deserves a classic French wine," explains Sun. "This vin doux naturel has refreshing flavors of bergamot, Seville orange, and quince, which will cut through the pudding’s richness."

To whip up a similar dessert, try this recipe for crème brûlée bread pudding. Happy holidays!
