Here’s a taste of what’s on tap this weekend at the Beard House.

With pristine, white-sand beaches and turquoise waters, Turks and Caicos is a picture-perfect exotic getaway. Tonight the Beard House hosts a knockout team of chefs from the island destination’s top luxury hotels and hottest restaurants, providing a taste of paradise through dishes like Scorched Tropical Conch Salad; Roasted Caicos Bank Snapper with Vanilla Yucca Purée, Tamarind Preserves, and Chervil Chimichurri; and Aged Double R Ranch Beef Rib-Eye with Pepper Pot Flavors, Stewed Black Peas, Chicken Crackling, Kale Pesto, Pickled Ají Dulce, and Charcoal Oil.

  • Hors d’Oeuvre
    • Deconstructed Oxtail–Butter Bean Stew 
    • Scorched Tropical Conch Salad 
    • Fish and Grits > Cornmeal Grits with Snapper, Avocado, and Fried Sweet Plantain Cake
    • Shots with the Queen > Bloody Mary Conch Chowder Shooters with Johnnycake Dust
  • Dinner 
    • Locally Grown Baby Beet Salad with Goat Cheese, Candied Radishes, Micro-Bull’s Blood, and Turks Head Beer Crumble
    • Conch Crudo with Pink Peppercorn Powder, Black Salt, Marinated Citrus, Microgreens, Avocado Salsa, and Hibiscus Cloud
    • Roasted Caicos Bank Snapper with Vanilla Yucca Purée, Tamarind Preserves, and Chervil Chimichurri
    • Aged Double R Ranch Beef Rib-Eye with Pepper Pot Flavors, Stewed Black Peas, Chicken Crackling, Kale Pesto, Pickled Ají Dulce, and Charcoal Oil
    • Collaborative Dessert
    • A selection of fine wines will be served with this dinner.
