Chefs Loryn Nalic and Miro Uskokovic bring their shared Balkan cuisine and long-time friendship together for a one-night dinner. Both honed their skills in elite kitchens—Nalic working through pastry and savory lines in St. Louis, and Uskokovic serving as executive pastry chef at Gramercy Tavern following stops at Jean-Georges and Aldea. Nalic’s work at Balkan Treat Box, a St. Louis phenomenon known for drawing lines down the block for its wood-fired breads like stuffed Turkish pide slicked with tangy red pepper ajvar, earned her the 2026 James Beard Award for Best Chef: Midwest. While Uskokovic, a James Beard Award nominee® for Outstanding Pastry Chef, has captured widespread acclaim from publications like Eater, New York Magazine, and Bon Appétit for Hani’s Bakery, his newly opened Astor Place destination in New York City. This dinner is a rare opportunity to savor beloved dishes from Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, expressed through their formidable culinary talents. 

This one-night-only dinner will feature a cocktail reception with passed hors d'oeuvre upon arrival, an expertly crafted multi-course menu with thoughtfully curated wine or beverage pairings, and a Q&A with the featured chefs.
