Three of San Diego’s most acclaimed chefs—Roberto Alcocer, Eric Bost, and Tara Monsod—come together for an extraordinary evening that celebrates the region’s dynamic fine dining evolution and boundary-pushing cuisine.
Chef Alcocer, of Michelin-starred restaurant Valle in Oceanside, brings soulful, modern Mexican cuisine shaped by his Baja roots. From Carlsbad, chef Bost of Michelin-starred restaurants Jeune et Jolie and Lilo delivers the refined precision of French technique filtered through the lens of California’s seasonal bounty. Chef Monsod, a two-time James Beard Award nominee®, leads La Jolla’s Le Coq and downtown San Diego’s Animae with fearless creativity, merging Filipino American heritage and French tradition to boldly reimagine the modern steakhouse. Reservation Policy:
All reservations are non-refundable and must be made in advance. Should the event be cancelled due to any unforeseen circumstances, JBF will offer a range of options, including ticket exchanges, the option to donate tickets, or a full refund. Tickets to events held at Platform at Pier 57 by the James Beard Foundation cover the cost of food, education and a unique dining experience. Meals are prepared by culinary masters from all regions of the United States and around the world. Unless otherwise stated, alcoholic beverages are provided on a complimentary basis and are not included in the ticket price.
