Join us for a vibrant Mardi Gras dinner hosted by brothers Alex Pincus and Miles Pincus—French Quarter natives who grew up at the table, immersed in the rhythms, flavors, and rituals of New Orleans’ cooking and hospitality—alongside James Beard Award–winning chef Kerry Heffernan.
Anchored by Crew’s proprietary Sailor Baby oysters, the menu will explore the full lifecycle of oysters and their vital role in restoring coastal ecosystems. Guests will also get a first look at Holywater, the brothers’ New Orleans homecoming restaurant opening this spring. Featured dishes and drinks will include the brothers’ “Baby Makin’ Gumbo,” their mother’s world-famous pralines, Holywater’s signature King Cake, and cocktails inspired by the Vieux Carré—created at The Carousel Bar, which the brothers’ father ran for 35 years—alongside lost and unexpected Carnival-inspired drinks that reflect the spirit and joy of Mardi Gras.
This one-night-only dinner will feature a cocktail reception with passed hors d'oeuvre upon arrival, an expertly crafted multi-course menu with thoughtfully curated wine or beverage pairings, and a Q&A with the featured chefs.

Event Policy
Reservation Policy:
All reservations are non-refundable and must be made in advance. Should the event be cancelled due to any unforeseen circumstances, JBF will offer a range of options, including ticket exchanges, the option to donate tickets, or a full refund. Terms
Tickets to events held at Platform at Pier 57 by the James Beard Foundation cover the cost of food, education, and a unique dining experience. Meals are prepared by culinary masters from all regions of the United States and around the world. Unless otherwise stated, alcoholic beverages are provided on a complimentary basis and are included in the ticket price. Gratuity, taxes, and fees are included in the ticket price.
