Building on the success of their acclaimed Presidio restaurant, Dalida, San Francisco chefs Laura Ozyilmaz and Sayat Ozyilmaz launched Maria Isabel to celebrate Laura’s Mexican heritage. Already earning accolades from Bon Appétit, the Michelin Guide, and Wine Spectator, the concept showcases the rich culinary traditions of Mexico through a deeply personal lens.

For one night, the James Beard Award semifinalists, JBF 2026 TasteTwenty chefs, and Top Chef finalist (Laura) bring the story of Maria Isabel to the table. Inspired by Laura’s roots in Guerrero—defined by tropical ingredients and coastal seafood—and her father’s Sinaloa heritage, the menu pairs regional classics like aguachile, chilorio, and machaca with peak- season ingredients from local farms. Join us for a beautiful celebration bridging the Pacific coasts of Mexico and California.

This one-night-only dinner will feature a cocktail reception with passed hors d'oeuvre upon arrival, an expertly crafted multi-course menu with thoughtfully curated wine or beverage pairings, and a Q&A with the featured chefs.
