Don't miss a spectacular evening of deeply thoughtful, seasonal dining with Karyn Tomlinson, the 2025 James Beard Award winner® for Best Chef: Midwest and one of Food & Wine’s Best New Chefs of 2024. Tomlinson is chef/owner of Myriel in St. Paul, Minnesota, where she is known for her precise, elegant approach to hyper-local, French-influenced cuisine that reflects her rural Scandanavian immigrant farming heritage.
Defined by a profound reverence for ingredients and the land, chef Tomlinson’s cooking celebrates the values of care, seasonality, and resourcefulness rooted in Minnesota’s agricultural traditions. For this special one-night-only event, Tomlinson will present a multi-course, peak-season menu, with each dish thoughtfully prepared to honor the integrity and simplicity of its components.
Each course will be paired with wines curated by Amy Waller of German Wine Collection. Don’t miss this intimate, memorable evening celebrating the art of true seasonal cooking, exceptional wine, and warm hospitality.

Reservation Policy:
All reservations are non-refundable and must be made in advance. Should the event be cancelled due to any unforeseen circumstances, JBF will offer a range of options, including ticket exchanges, the option to donate tickets, or a full refund. Tickets to events held at Platform at Pier 57 by the James Beard Foundation cover the cost of food, education and a unique dining experience.
