A Korean Steak Experience for Platform’s Exclusive Dinner Series
This exclusive steak omakase features a private reception followed by an exceptional 14-course tasting menu by Michelin-starred chef Sangtae Park of Chicago’s Bonyeon. This intimate dinner is timed with Chuseok, the mid-autumn Korean harvest festival, and will featurepremium beef cuts rarely seen outside of Korea.
Master Sommelier Kyungmoon Kim, formerly of New York’s Michelin three-starred Jungsik, will curate beverage pairings with premium sakes and traditional Korean spirits to further enhance each dish.
There are only two seatings available, limited to 11 chef’s counter seats each.
Menu to be determined by the Bonyeon team based on seasonal availability closer to the day of the dinner.
Dietary Restrictions: Due to the nature of the tasting menu and specialty ingredients in each course, dietary accommodations cannot be made for this experience. Please note that most courses do include gluten and soy.

Reservation Policy:
All reservations are non-refundable and must be made in advance. Should the event be cancelled due to any unforeseen circumstances, JBF will offer a range of options, including ticket exchanges, the option to donate tickets, or a full refund. Tickets to events held at Platform at Pier 57 by the James Beard Foundation cover the cost of food, education and a unique dining experience. Meals are prepared by culinary masters from all regions of the United States and around the world. Unless otherwise stated, alcoholic beverages are provided on a complimentary basis and are not included in the ticket price.
