At his Williamsburg hot spot Barano, Albert Di Meglio serves up addictive Italian-American eats inspired by the recipes of his grandmother, who pushed him to pursue his dreams in the kitchen. Get a taste of his signature handmade pasta and hearth-based fare when Di Meglio cooks up a tribute to his nonna and her namesake, St. Joseph.

JBF Greens: Jazz at Lincoln Center

The James Beard Foundation Greens (foodies under 40) will join forces with Jazz at Lincoln Center’s own under-40 group, Hang Set, for a spectacular evening of delicious food, stunning views, and great music. The night begins with a reception featuring beer, fine wines, and bites from some of New York’s hottest chefs. Guests will then enjoy a concert, The Swing Collective, in the Appel Room.
