Cherry Blossom Celebration
Fleeting and breathtaking, the springtime arrival of cherry blossoms is a cherished event in Japanese culture. For the Beard House’s annual celebration of this natural phenomenon, returning chef Brandon Kida will prepare an exquisite menu paired with Annie Turso’s stellar wine selections.
Wednesday, April 27, 12:00 P.M.
Enlightened Eaters: Sloane Miller, Allergic Girl
Sloane Miller is founder and President of Allergic Girl Resources, Inc., a consultancy devoted to food allergy awareness. She consults with private clients, the food and hospitality industry, government and not-for-profit advocacy organizations. Ms. Miller earned her Master of Social Work at the New York University’s Silver School of Social Work and her Master of Fine Arts in Writing and Literature at Bennington College. In 2006 she started Please Don't Pass the Nuts, an award-winning blog for and about people affected by food allergies. On March 7, 2011, John Wiley & Sons published Ms. Miller's first book, Allergic Girl: Adventures in Living Well With Food Allergies, the definitive how-to guide. Ms. Miller combines a lifetime of personal experience and passion with professional expertise to connect with people about how to live safely, effectively, and joyously with food allergies.

East End Seafood Celebration
CIA grad Joe Isidori garnered critical acclaim for his seafood-centric menu at NYC’s Harbor and earned a Michelin star for DJT in Las Vegas. Now at Bridgehampton’s Southfork Kitchen, his menu focuses on local sustainable seafood, East End produce, and Long Island wines.
Friday, April 29, 7:00 P.M.
Sonoma Wine Lovers’ Dinner
Beard House alum Oliver Reschreiter opened restaurants throughout the world before heading to Phoenix’s JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort, where he oversees the property’s three restaurants. For this dinner Reschreiter’s menu will be paired with wines from Sonoma winemaker Paul Hobbs, a pioneer in unfiltered and unfined wines.
Saturday, April 30, 7:00 P.M.
Chic and Trendy Italian
In 1978 Enzo Cecconi left the venerable Cipriani in Venice to open Cecconi’s in London, where fresh pasta and Bellini cocktails helped create an overnight sensation. Three decades later, with outposts in Miami and West Hollywood, the eatery’s chefs continue to deliver the best in Venetian food, drink, and, of course, cicchetti.
