Recipe Roundup: August 12, 2011

The blogosphere's sprawling universe of recipes is inspiring, diverse, and—let's face it—a bit daunting. Our new recipe roundup feature does all the heavy sifting to single out recent, mouthwatering recipes from our favorite blogs. All you have to do is click and cook!
Here's what we'll be making over the course of the next week:
Corn, Buttermilk, and Chive Popovers [smitten kitchen] Justify your purchase of a single-use pan with these puffy golden biscuits.
Chocolate–Olive Oil Zucchini Bread [Seven Spoons] Just when you thought zucchini bread couldn’t get any better, along comes a loaf that's loaded with half a pound of chocolate. Blueberry and Lime Salsa [How Sweet It Is] A zesty, colorful topping for fish, chips, or pita. Honey and Thyme–Roasted Plums [Desserts for Breakfast] Simple and summery, these gorgeous fruits pair marvelously with the accompanying Sable Breton. Coffee, Frangelico, and Chocolate Meringue Gateaux: [What Katie Ate] The name (and photo) says it all. Pad Thai with Baby Bok Choy and White Crab Mushrooms [Golubka] You can use any kind of mushroom in this recipe, but the white crab variety sure is pretty. Roasted Eggplant and Za’atar Pizza [Sprouted Kitchen] We can practically smell the za’atar from here. Aloo Chaat [Monica Bhide] A taste of summer in India. Lobster Rolls [Sassy Radish] An unembellished New England classic. Pink Margarita on the Rocks [Everybody Likes Sandwiches] A great way to wash down any of the above dishes.Categories
