A PURCHASE OR CONTRIBUTION DOES NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

SWEEPSTAKES ENTRY PERIOD: The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) starts at 12:00:00 AM Eastern Time (“ET”) on 3/18/16 and ends at 11:59:59 PM ET on 7/28/16.

ELIGIBILITY: Open to legal residents of the 48 contiguous United States or the District of Columbia, age 21 and older at time of entry. Employees of the James Beard Foundation (“Sponsor”), Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood, Ventura Associates International LLC and all other companies involved with the development or execution of this Sweepstakes (collectively referred to as “Sweepstakes Entities”) and their immediate family members, and/or those living in the same household of each whether related or not are not eligible to enter. Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void in Alaska, Hawaii, and where prohibited by law.

HOW TO ENTER: To enter, complete each Sweepstakes ticket by providing your name, telephone number and email address in the areas provided and return your completed Sweepstakes Ticket(s) in person or by mail to: The James Beard Foundation, Attn: Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sweepstakes, 167 W. 12^th Street, NY, NY 10011. Your reply must be postmarked by 7/28/16 and received by 8/4/16. Sweepstakes tickets are available at select James Beard Foundation events and via download at www.jamesbeard.org/Sweepstakes. Limit: one fully separated strip of 3 tickets (i.e., 3 entries) per envelope. Each Sweepstakes ticket must be completed in its entirety and will not be valid for entry into the Sweepstakes random drawing unless each Sweepstakes ticket is fully detached from the other. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, incomplete, damaged, illegible or postage due entries. All submissions become the property of Sponsor and will not be returned or acknowledged. Limit: Twenty (20) entries per person.

PRIZE & ITS APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE (“ARV”): A five (5) night stay for winner and one (1) guest at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, FL (ARV: $5,000.00). Prize does not include air transportation which is the responsibility of the winner and his/her guest. Actual ARV may vary based on rates at time of stay. If actual value of prize is less than the stated ARV, the difference will not be awarded. Prize includes accommodations for five nights, $200 per restaurant to allocate towards dinner at Kuro and to Council Oak Steaks & Seafood. Winner will also receive $100 to Hard Rock Cafe, $100 to The Bōl, $1,000 Seminole Hard Rock Gift Card, $1,000 in Freeplay for slots at the casino and $500 Rock Spa and Salon Gift Card. Seminole Hard Rock gift cards can be redeemed at all Seminole Casino and Seminole Hard Rock properties in the state of Florida. Gift cards can be redeemed at all food and beverage and hotel outlets that are owned by Seminole Gaming. Gift Card will be awarded at time of check-in. All costs and expenses associated with the acceptance and use of the prize not specified herein as being awarded, including but not limited to, air transportation, ground transportation, any amount above the value of each Gift Card, meals (other than as noted), fees, gratuities, incidentals, service charges, upgrades or insurance are the winner’s (and guest’s) sole responsibility. Prize is non-transferable, non refundable and not redeemed for cash or other services not described. No substitutions for prize permitted, except Sponsor may substitute prize or portion thereof with one of comparable or greater value, at its sole discretion due to prize unavailability for any reason.

Prize must be redeemed within one (1) year from the date of notification or winner forfeits all rights to prize. Winner and guest must check-in and check-out on the same dates. Hotel accommodations are based on availability. Advance booking, blackout dates (including all US holidays and special events) and restrictions apply. Winner and his/her guest are responsible for obtaining the proper travel documentation (e.g., valid IDs) prior to travel. Guest must be 21 years or older and will be required to execute and return a Liability/Publicity Release prior to travel.

Odds of winning depend on the number of entries received estimated at 1:1,100.

RANDOM DRAWING: Potential winner (“winner”) will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Entry Period. Random drawing will be conducted on or about 8/30/16 by Ventura Associates International LLC an independent judging organization (“judges”) whose decisions are final. Winner will be notified by email and/or phone. Two (2) attempts will be made to contact winner within a ten (10) period. Winner will be required to complete and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability and a Publicity Release (“Affidavit/Release”) within ten (10) days of date specified on notification, or an alternate winner will be selected at random. If winner cannot be contacted, or email notification/ Affidavit/Release is returned as undeliverable or if the selected winner cannot accept or receive the prize for any reason, or he/she is not in compliance with these Official Rules, the prize will be forfeited and it will be awarded to an alternate winner in a separate random drawing. If for any reason whatsoever, winner is unable to receive the benefit of the land accommodations after all arrangements have been made and paid, the Sponsor shall have no further obligation to such winner. If prize is forfeited prior to finalizing and paying for arrangements, and there is sufficient time to notify an alternate winner, the prize will be awarded to an alternate winner in a separate random drawing from among all non-winning eligible entries. Winner is responsible for all federal, state, local and sales and income taxes associated with winning prize. Entry and acceptance of prize constitute permission to use each winner's name, prize won, hometown and likeness for online posting and promotional purposes without further compensation, except where prohibited by law.

CONDITIONS AND LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor and Ventura Associates International LLC, which shall be final in all respects. Failure to comply with these Official Rules may result in disqualification from the Sweepstakes. The Sponsor reserves the right to: (i) permanently disqualify from any sweepstakes it sponsors any person it believes has intentionally violated these Official Rules. Participating entrants release Sweepstakes Entities, as well as the employees, officers, directors and agents of each, from any and all liability, for loss, harm, damage, injury, cost or expense whatsoever including without limitation, property damage, personal injury and/or death which may occur in connection with, preparation for, travel to, or participation in Sweepstakes, or possession, acceptance and/or use or misuse of prize or participation in any Sweepstakes-related activity. Sponsor is not responsible if Sweepstakes cannot take place or if any prize cannot be awarded due to travel cancellations, delays or interruptions due to acts of God, acts of war, natural disasters, weather or acts of terrorism. Winner assumes all liability for any injury or damage caused or claimed to be caused by use of prize. Sponsor is not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of the offer, administration of the Sweepstakes, or in the announcement of the prize. The Sponsor is not responsible for error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or for technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, computer, hardware, or software malfunctions of any kind, or inaccurate transmission of or failure to receive entry information from Sponsor on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the internet.
